OVERVIEW

Zeytin Otel is a beautiful retreat located just a couple of minutes away from Alaçatı’s charming town center. The hotel consists of four seperate stone mansions bearing the features of old Greek architecture, each surrounded by lush green gardens to create an intimate, fresh sanctuary.

The rooms - two luxury rooms, 12 standards, two apartments and a family floor – are wonderful, stacked with a range of features like lounges and fireplaces, private swimming pools, Turkish baths and terraces – some even have kitchens if you wish to cook.

Then again the home made food here is so special you probably won’t want to. Breakfast, a banquet of home-made jams, locally-procured cheeses and Turkish pastries, is included in the room rate and vegetarian and special diet menus can also be arranged. Meals can be taken in one of the communal lounges, which are appointed with cosy fireplaces just in case the temperature drops (which isn’t often).

There are two swimming pools, and the four, maze-like gardens are a joy to relax in and stroll around. The owners have also recently added a winter garden (with a fireplace), and you can also book massage therapy, yoga lessons, fishing trips, horse riding and windsurfing packages (the owners are keen windsurfers themselves).

A short walk away you’ll find the town's vibrant market and restaurants and if you want info on the surrounding area just ask owner İlknur, who has a wealth of tourism experience, having worked in the tourism industry in Istanbul for 15 years, and between 1996 and 2002 as general manager in Ata Investment Group's agency Arbeta Tourism.
