Aquarius Hotel

Completely renovated in 2004, the Aquarius Hotel comprises two floors with a total of 36 rooms, including four very impressive suites. The hotel enjoys a wonderful location on the Cukurbag peninsula in Kas, one of the most popular yet peaceful holiday villages on Antalya’s majestic coast.

Just five kilometres from the centre (there are regular dolmus or taxis available), it’s surrounded by nature – more specifcally, lots of pristine blue sea. The rooms are small and simply appointed, but clean and comfortable with wooden floors, air-conditioning, TVs and mini-bar. They also come with balconies as well as bathrooms with showers.

The restaurant has an outdoor terrace and serves an open buffet with a range of exotic and traditional dishes; there’s also a snack bar and indoor restaurant for the colder months. The large swimming pool has a children‘s section, making this a great option for families – kids will also enjoy the small private beach set down below the rocks, and other facilities on site include a pool bar, games room and internet access.

The friendly staff also help make this a very welcoming option in one of Antalya’s most sought after and relaxed areas. Make sure to visit Kas itself and explore its pretty harbour and buzzing restaurant and bar scene. If you have more time – and are so inclined – there are lots of other sights and sites in the area such as the underground ruins at Kekova Island, the pretty, timeless village of Simena and the impressive archeological ruins and rock caves at Myra (Kale).
