OVERVIEW

There aren’t many hotels in the world, let alone Turkey, like Calista Luxury Resort. The inaugural project of the Özkar Company, this Belek hotel offers a quality experience from the incredible architectural (designed by GMP, one of Germany’s leading architecture firms) to the efficiency and professionalism of the staff, and the interior design – taken on by the well known (and much loved) company British Solano.

Taking up a mammoth 120,000 square meters, the hotel boasts 502 standard rooms, 63 family rooms, 18 corner suites, 2 presidential and 1 royal suite. There are also 14 luxury villas scattered throughout the resort’s abundant gardens, which offer more privacy and closer access to the sea.

All rooms are beautifully and luxuriously appointed with minibars, air-conditioning, 32" LCD TVs, wireless and LAN Internet connection plus the bathrooms have both tubs and shower cabins. The family rooms are spread over two floors, while corner suites have a living room with two sofa beds and the presidential suites have a plethora of rooms and go up to 160 m2 in size – which is still 80 m2 smaller than the Royal Suite.

Equally upscale are the hotel’s various restaurants and bars and don’t worry about there not being much in the immediate area – a dedicated cinema, aqua park, tennis courts, heated swimming pool, step, fitness center and sauna will ensure you don’t get bored. There’s also a 3,500 m2 spa for the adults and lots of things for kids to do like separate pools and children’s clubs. There’s a private fine sandy beach too and even a VIP pier area.

Belek is a lovely part of the Antalya coast characterised by the blue seas of the Meditteranean and the green of the surrounding pines. While there’s not much in the way of sights directly around you, the scenery is pleasant and if you’re a golf fan this location is a must as there are over a dozen world class courses in the area.
