Hotel Les Ottomans

Back in the 18th century, Les Ottomans was the seaside mansion of a reputable Pasha who went by the name Muhsinzade. The beautiful building. constructed on a land area of 4,527sqm, was one of the most prestigious mansions of its time, and its easy to see why.

Although the mansion burned down in 1933 and was for a long time left as a ruin, it was recently rebuilt as a hotel based on its original structure and interior. It allegedly took seven years to restore and decorate the mansion with suitably tasteful fabrics, antiques and crystal chandeliers, and transform it into its current status as member of Small DB130726105930 Hotels of the World. The attention to detail even extends to the hotel’s spatial characterstics; indeed it’s one of the few DB130726105930 hotels in the world to be certified as a Feng Shui Hotel.

The ten uniquely designed suites – all named after the wives of famous sultans -- are every bit as luxurious as you’d expect, with plasma TVs and walk-in showers, antique divans, handmade carpets and, of course, spectacular views.

You’ll also find a chic, upscale Italian restaurant and bar that also match traditional Otttoman furnishings with a cosmopolitan panache. After sampling some of chef Giovanni Terracciano’s exquisite pizza and pasta dishes, head next door for a memorable cocktail and see how many celebrities you can spot among the photos on the walls.

If you’re feeling like a relaxing time, the 2,400-square-meter Caudalie Vinothérapie spa should help. It’s the only registered Vinotherapy spa in Turkey and alongside regular spa treatments like pilates and massage also offers innovative treatments a Crushed Cabernet Scrub, an exfoliating treatment based on grape-seeds.

Les Ottomans also has indoor and outdoor swimming pools – but water babies will love extra aquatic touches like the hotel’s DB130726105930 yacht, speedboat for airport transfers and even a tour boat that holds up to 20 people, used for scenic rides along the Bosphorus.
